Once you’ve had BBQ from @kreung_la, it leaves a craving that’s difficult to describe without experiencing it firsthand. And the warm and friendly hospitality, regardless of location really makes that part easy. Catch them wherever and whenever you can!

Kreung Kitchen is one of our favorite pop-ups on the Westside. We try to make it out whenever we can, and it’s always worth it. Their Cambodian barbecue is excellent — the grilled meats are always packed with flavor and cooked just right. My wife and son especially love the skewers and anything coming off the grill. Whenever they offer their limited noodle soups, we make sure to grab a bowl — they’re rich, comforting, and full of depth. You can really tell there’s a lot of care that goes into everything they make. We’re really hoping Kreung Kitchen opens a permanent location sometime soon. It would be amazing to have a go-to spot for their food year-round! Highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance.

Best Cambodian Barbecue in. Los Angeles. And it’s not even close. You know it’s good as you can smell it when you’re walking up. The taste meets the smell as so good. Delicious. And the sauce just adds to the perfection in barbecue beef and chicken. And the rice. I’m always wanting more.

Wow — this pop-up Cambodian spot blew me away! The food was so good — every bite was packed with flavor. The beef on lemongrass skewers as well as pork belly and chicken were all super tender and flavorful, and the herbs and sauces tied everything together perfectly. You can tell everything’s made with passion and fresh ingredients. The people running it were super friendly too — they took time to explain each dish and give recommendations even to brick and mortars to try. It’s the kind of place that makes you excited to try something new. If you see them around town, definitely stop by — you won’t regret it!

Been so excited to try this popup for months. Glad to say that Sam and team did not disappoint. Got the grill master platter and everything was so good. Each cut of meat had a unique flavor and was complimented well by the coconut rice & corn. The sauces had a nice tangy/spicy kick and the salad helped to cut through the richness. My favorite item was the pork belly. 10/10 coming back again

Kreung LA is probably the best food I’ve had in LA since I moved here. I had never had Cambodian food before, and the second I tried Sam Oum’s masterful flavor creations, I questioned everything I knew previously about flavor! They’re the real deal and I can’t recommend them enough for those that already love Cambodian food and those are looking to try (and get their minds blown) for the first time.

I've been eyeing Kreung Kitchen for many weeks. Tonight, we finally got a chance to check out the pop-up in Culver City. All I can say is that tonight's atmosphere and meals exceeded our expectations. Before I get to the food, I have to give a massive shoutout to Sam, the owner, and Christina, his partner, for being welcoming, sincere, and kind hosts. They truly embodied the culture of what it means to be Khmer people with their good vibes and energy. They instantly made us feel like family the moment we met. First, I should mention that I'm Khmer, and I agree with the owners of Kreung Kitchen - there aren't many Cambodian restaurants in Los Angeles, which is quite frankly a real bummer, as Cambodian food is incredible. Having just moved here, I was really craving Cambodian food. Second, tonight's food was really fire. This evening, we got the grilled chicken, twa ko, and slow-roasted pork belly, and everything was well-seasoned, well-grilled, and cooked to perfection. You know it's Cambodian food when there's lemongrass! They also made tirk trey koh kong, which is an incredibly addicting dipping sauce. By the end of my meal, I was dousing everything in it. My partner also really enjoyed his plate, and we're already planning our next trip out to see them again! Overall, we're big fans of Kreung Kitchen and will definitely continue supporting this local business! This place is worth the wait and trek out! Seriously, do yourself a favor and swing by. Sending y'all lots of love and support, Sam, Christina, and crew! I can't wait to see y'all bring more traditional Khmer dishes to the streets of L.A.

One of my favorite pop up restaurants in west LA! Sam and his team are the best and the food reflects that. My absolute favorite has to be the pork belly. Super tender and delicious to eat with the various sauces. The rice and coconut corn are phenomenal. Will definitely be finding them around as often as I can! Follow them on ig to get their full schedule bc theyre not only showing up at LA aleworks! I saw them at the culver book festival most recently
